UHS hosts thirty 03plus ambassadors from various universities in Sub-Saharan Africa

The University Health Services on April 20, 2023 hosted thirty O3plus ambassadors from
different countries in Africa, led by Ms. Jane Kamau from UNESCO.
The O3 plus Project seeks to promote health and wellbeing among students in institutions of
higher learning in Kenya. The University of Nairobi in partnership with UNESCO and SIDA is
implementing the O3 Plus on Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future in addressing a range of Health
and Wellbeing issues young people are faced with, including gender-based violence, HIV and

University of Nairobi Commemorates the World Health Day

The University of Nairobi Commemorated the World Health Day in tandem with the Annual
UoN Health Awareness Day on Wednesday, 05 th April 2022, at the Chancellor’s Court. The
event, held under the theme “Health for All,” featured a free medical camp open both to the
public and university fraternity. Students, staff, and members of the public flocked to the
event and received free health services, including medical tests and consultations.
