The University Health Services Vaccination Centre has obtained limited quantity of the
Covishield (Astra Zeneca) vaccine for purposes of administering the second (2 nd ) dose
against COVID-19.
In this regard, the second dose of the vaccine will be administered to members of staff
who fall under the following categories and in compliance with Ministry of Health
guidelines:
1) Health Care Workers who had received the first dose.
2) All members of staff who have since completed twelve (12) weeks - after the first
dose, and registered in the Ministry of Health Information Management System (CHANJO).
Kindly note that the Vaccination Centre will not administer the vaccine to persons whose
details are not already in the system, hence had not received the first dose.
To comply with COVID-19 health protocols, the University Vaccination Portal is now open
for booking to facilitate ease of flow.
