Share facts on Drugs, Save Lives-IDADA 2021

The University of Nairobi Community joined the world in commemorating the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADA). IDADA is observed on 26th June every year following an agreement by the United Nations General Assembly 33 years ago. This agreement was an expression of the global determination to strengthen action and cooperation towards an international society free of drug abuse.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE SECOND DOSE OF COVISHIELD VACCINE

The University Health Services Vaccination Centre has obtained limited quantity of the
Covishield (Astra Zeneca) vaccine for purposes of administering the second (2 nd ) dose
against COVID-19.
In this regard, the second dose of the vaccine will be administered to members of staff
who fall under the following categories and in compliance with Ministry of Health
guidelines:
1) Health Care Workers who had received the first dose.
2) All members of staff who have since completed twelve (12) weeks - after the first
